Because of ongoing conflicts on the first Sunday of each month (i.e., Super Bowl, Academy Awards, Pride, Independence Day, etc.), the seven members of the group attending the Wednesday Diva’s meeting voted unanimously to move our Sunday sessions from the first to the second Sunday of each month. That means our next meeting at Scott Nicholson’s home will be on June 13th rather than the 6th to avoid conflicting with Pride.
Mingling will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the discussion starting promptly (sort of) at 7:15. This month’s topic: Coming out to children… When is it appropriate to do so? How should it be done? What issues should we be aware of? The discussion will be gently moderated to ensure an interesting and informative interchange.
I’m in Vernal (300 miles NE of SLC), and wish to start attending the monthly (2nd Sunday) meetings please! I’m resigned Mormon, gay, divorced after 31 years and have 5 children ages 16-30. Since it will be a very late drive back home I wonder if someone would be so kind as to offer me a place to sleep Sunday night?
